APPLE NEWS
The GOLDEN DELICIOUS apples are on special for .45 a pound. They are beyond their prime for eating out of hand, but are still excellent for making apple sauce and apple butter (no sugar needed). The BRAEBURN apple is one of our family favorites. They are great for eating and make wonderful pies and cobblers.

APPLE CIDER
Our cider and cider blends take on a tasty flavor during November because of the many varieties of apples in the mix. The cider is a delicious addition to your holiday gatherings. To store, remember to pour out about a half a cup before freezing.

ORCHARD UPDATE
Due to the apples ripening early this year, we are unable to predict how long we will be open for the season. If things go well, we may be open as late as the last weekend before Christmas. Please check the website for announcements, or call, since we won’t be sending a December newsletter. In this off-season we will be busy working with new varieties of apples from our breeding program, and also grafting more Warren Pears due to it’s increasing popularity.
