Harvest Hard Cider Dinner

Join us at Gopher Glen Organic Apple Farm for our 3rd annual Harvest Hard Cider Dinner, featuring Gopher Glen Hard Cider. The event will take place in the orchard under the cafe lights and stars among the apple trees during peak harvest. Ticket includes a family style fried chicken dinner paired with six hard Gopher Glen ciders, dessert with hot coffee, and meet/greet with the Gopher Glen farmers.

This is a beautiful location, located just across the bridge from our fruit stand. Upon arrival, diners will enjoy a welcoming pour of Liliko'i Sunset passionfruit infused hard cider while mingling with other visitors and enjoying the sites. The family style dinner will be prepared by Chef Jesse Smith, The Farmers Guild Catering. Chef Jesse will be highlighting the bounty of harvest with his famous fried chicken dinner paired with our very own hard ciders. Past menu included charcuterie, the farm house salad, fried Brussel sprouts with goat cheese and balsamic, mashed potatoes, and southern fried chicken. This years menu will be very similar with some changes based on what fresh ingredients are the most flavorful and in season at that time. Ciders include Espana Sidra, Righteous Apple, Liliko'i Sunset, Jack Rabbit, Field Run, and Gravenstein. Gopher Glen's hard ciders are dry fermented and closely related to wine and champagne. Dessert will be served with coffee.

Parking: We have limited parking in our fruit stand parking lot for this event. Please share rides where possible.

Considerations: This is a rustic farm, please be prepared to walk on semi un-even ground and for chilly weather. We will have space heaters placed around the tables, but the event is still held outdoors! In the past the space heaters have provided plenty of heat. In the event the weather is wet, the dinner will be moved to Avila Valley Barn under the grape arbor. Participants will be contacted via email to be alerted of changes.
